Final Fantasy 15 All Royal Arm Locations Guide

Search the indicated locations to find all 13 Royal Arms and get the “Faithful Heir” achievement. Each Royal Arm has unique attack patterns and stat boosts. They can be used in combat by Noctis. They are more powerful than normal weapons but using them depletes your own health. Even if you do not want to use these weapons, you should equip them for the stat boosts they provide. Additionally, the Royal Arms bypass all enemy resistances and always deal full damage (no enemies are resistant to them). You automatically get the first seven Royal Arms during the main quests.

The remaining six Royal Arms are from dungeons and Royal Tombs that you must find on your own. None of them are missable. There is free roam after completing the story that allows you to go back to any place in the game. The dungeons are fairly difficult — one of them is for Level 55+. You can attempt to do them before leaving for Chapter 9, but they will be very difficult. It is recommended to first complete the story to get stronger. Note: You can also switch to the Easy difficulty in the game options at any point in the game. You cannot die while playing on the Easy difficulty.

1. Sword Of The Wise: Automatically unlocked during the “Legacy” main quest in Chapter 2.

2. Axe Of The Conqueror: Automatically unlocked during “The Power Of Kings” main quest in Chapter 2.

3. Swords Of The Wanderer: Automatically unlocked during the “Sword In The Waterfall” main quest in Chapter 3.

4. Blade Of The Mystic: Automatically unlocked during “The Archaean” main quest in Chapter 4.

5. Katana Of The Warrior: Automatically unlocked during “The Hand Of The King” main quest in Chapter 10.

6. Trident Of The Oracle: Automatically unlocked during the “Breath Of The Glacian” main quest in Chapter 12.

7. Sword Of The Father: Automatically unlocked during the “A King’s Struggle” main quest in Chapter 13.

8. Shield Of The Just: Enter and open the Tomb Of The Just (no dungeon/enemies) in the open world in Thummels Glade.

9. Mace Of The Fierce: Successfully complete The Rock Of Ravatagh dungeon (Level 30 recommended) in Ravatagh Trail.

10. Scepter Of The Pious: Successfully complete the Malmalam Thicket dungeon (Level 35 recommended) in Maidenwater.

11. Star Of The Rogue: Successfully complete The Myrlwood dungeon (Level 35 recommended) in The Vesperpool.

12. Bow Of The Clever: Successfully complete the Balouve Mines dungeon (Level 50 recommended) in The Callnegh Steps.

13. Sword Of The Tall: Successfully complete the Costlemark Tower dungeon (Level 55 recommended – Night only) in The Fallgrove.
