PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS: Melee Weapons and Grenades Guide

All melee weapons do the same damage so you pan-warriors rejoice! Melee items can do between 2-4 hit kills depending on the armor, with a 1-2 hit kill to the head depending on the helmets. Current melee items in the game are as follows;

Pan

Machete

Sickle

Crowbar

Grenades

There are four different throwables in the game which can be used in various different ways.

Frag Grenade:

Usually thrown at enemies hiding behind cover to either force them to move out or finish them off whilst healing.

Smoke Grenade:

Thrown to cut off line of sight between you and the enemy, providing you with limited time to safely move into a new position.

Stun Grenade:

Thrown to blind the opponent. Stun grenades can either open a window of opportunity for you to push somebody taking cover, or used to blind enemies sitting in houses, leaving the vulnerable to your breach and clear tactics.

Molotov Cocktail:

Similar to the Frag Grenade but substituting a singular large damage payout for damage over time. Molotov can easily force people to leave their cover or prevent people from entering houses.
