Pokemon Moon and Sun Technical Machine Location Guide

Search the indicated location to find the corresponding TM item. TM (Technical Machine) are items used to give your Pokemon moves they normally would not learn. There are a total of 100 TMs hidden throughout the Alola region. You need an open move slot on your Pokemon to use a TM item. Otherwise, you will have to forget one of the four moves a Pokemon can keep memorized to use it.

 

TM01 – Work Up: Hau’oli City, Trainer School – Defeat all four trainers.

TM02 – Dragon Claw: Poni Island, Vast Poni Canyon – It can be found along the northern route exit.

TM03 – Psyshock: Ula’ula Island, Lake of the Sunne – It can be found to the right, before entering the Lake proper.

TM04 – Calm Mind: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM05 – Roar: Melemele Island, Kala’e Bay – It can be found in the southeast corner where the path forks. Take the upper path to find it in an alcove.

TM06 – Toxic: Aether Paradise, Docks – It can be found in the left foreground corner of the docks.

TM07 – Hail: Akala Island, Battle Royal Dome – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 50,000.

TM08 – Bulk Up: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM09 – Venoshock: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM10 – Hidden Power: Akala Island, Paniola Ranch – Obtain it from the NPC to the left of the vendor at the Daycare Center.

TM11 – Sunny Day: Akala Island, Battle Royal Dome – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 50,000.

TM12 – Taunt: Ula’ula Island, Route 12 – Talk to the punk wearing black and white clothes in the parked motor home.

TM13 – Ice Beam: Ula’ula Island, Mount Lanakila – After riding the elevator up, enter the cave to the northeast. It is near the entrance to the large chamber.

TM14 – Blizzard: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 30,000.

TM15 – Hyper Beam: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 50,000.

TM16 – Light Screen: Akala Island, Heahea City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM17 – Protect: Akala Island, Heahea City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM18 – Rain Dance: Akala Island, Battle Royal Dome – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 50,000.

TM19 – Roost: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM20 – Safeguard: Akala Island, Heahea City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM21 – Frustration: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Go to Malasada’s Shop and talk to the Pokemon inside.

TM22 – Solar Beam: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM23 – Smack Down: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM24 – Thunderbolt: Poni Island, Poni Planes – Go to the upper northwest area of the planes, then back down the hills to find it in the last section.

TM25 – Thunder: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 30,000.

TM26 – Earthquake: Poni Island, Resolution Cave – Locate the breakable rocks in the cave. Use Poke-Ride and Tauros to smash through the rocks to find it.

TM27 – Return: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Go to Malasada’s Shop and talk to the Pokemon inside.

TM28 – Leech Life: Akala Island, Route 9 – Go down to the brown/yellow cliff’s edge in the southeastern corner. Follow the lower cliffs north to the dead end to find it.

TM29 – Psychic: Aether Paradise – Given by Wicke when leaving after your initial visit.

TM30 – Shadow Ball: Ula’ula Island, Route 14 – Cross the water using Swim and reach the abandoned lighthouse point ruins in the southwestern corner.

TM31 – Brick Break: Melemele Island, Verdant Cavern – It can be found on the lower left foreground of the first chamber.

TM32 – Double Team: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM33 – Reflect: Akala Island, Heahea City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM34 – Sludge Wave: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM35 – Flamethrower: Poni Island, Vast Poni Canyon – It can be found on the left side of the southern path leading into the canyon.

TM36 – Sludge Bomb: Ula’ula Island – Enter the Shady House grounds and go upstairs. Enter the bedroom at the top of the stairs and search the desk.

TM37 – Sandstorm: Akala Island, Battle Royal Dome – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 50,000.

TM38 – Fire Blast: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 30,000.

TM39 – Rock Tomb: Akala Island, Route 7 – It can be found on the rock platform overlooking the magma, opposite the beach to the east.

TM40 – Aerial Ace: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM41 – Torment: Akala Island, Route 5 – It can be found near the geysers on the raised rocky path on the eastern side of the route. It can be accessed with Tauros.

TM42 – Facade: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM43 – Flame Charge: Akala Island, Route 8 – Talk to Colress of the Aether Foundation.

TM44 – Rest: Akala Island, Malie City – Go to the Megamart and talk to Hypno. Give 1,000 to get it.

TM45 – Attract: Akala Island, Hano Grand Resort – Talk to the two female golf players in the Hano Grand Hotel, then talk to the Machamp to get it.

TM46 – Thief: Melemele Island, Verdant Cavern – Locate the breakable rocks at the end of the cave. Use Poke-Ride and Tauros to smash through the rocks to find it.

TM47 – Low Sweep: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM48 – Round: Melemele Island, Hau’oli City – Talk to the man with the Muk in the Shopping District.

TM49 – Echoed Voice: Melemele Island, Hau’oli City – It can be found in the grass in the park just outside the Hau’oli Marina.

TM50 – Overheat: Poni Island, Poni Meadow – It can be found in the Poni Meadow, north of the Ancient Poni Path. It is only accessible after becoming the Alola Champion.

TM51 – Steel Wing: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM52 – Focus Blast: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 30,000.

TM53 – Energy Ball: Akala Island, Lush Jungle – From the Trial area, proceed east and turn right at the curve to reach another section of the map. Locate the large boulder you can push. Use Machamp Shove to move the boulder, then continue down the path to find it.

TM54 – False Swipe: Melemele Island, Iki Town – Given by Professor Kukui after defeating the Island Kahuna Hala.

TM55 – Scald: Akala Island, Route 5 – On the grassy path south of the second pond.

TM56 – Fling: Melemele Island, Hau’oli Cemetery – Go to the graveyard on Route 2, and talk to the Machamp carrying its trainer.

TM57 – Charge Beam: Akala Island, Route 5 – Approximately around the middle of the route path are two small ponds with a grassy patch in-between the pair. Search in that grassy patch to find it.

TM58 – Sky Drop: Akala Island, Route 8 – Defeat all the trainers on the route.

TM59 – Brutal Swing: Akala Island, Route 5 – Reach the upper rocky path northeast from the Poke Center.

TM60 – Quash: Poni Island, Poni Plains – Defeat all the trainers on the route.

TM61 – Will-o-Wisp: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Use the Diglett Tunnel to reach the cliff’s edge south of the vertical city street. It can be found next to the lighthouse.

TM62 – Acrobatics: Melemele Island, Ten Carat Hill – Use the Tauros Charge to reach the optional area near the end of the hill.

TM63 – Embargo: Ula’ula Island, Geothermal Power Plant – Talk to the scientist NPC in the Visitor’s Center museum, with the Magnemite floating nearby.

TM64 – Explosion: Melemele Island, Sea – Enter the waters from the beach on the west side of the volcano to find a cave entrance from the water on the southwestern corner of the volcano. It can only be accessed with Poke Ride and Sharpedo.

TM65 – Shadow Claw: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM66 – Payback: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM67 – Smart Strike: Akala Island, Lush Jungle – Given by Professor Kukui after completing Trial Captain Mallow’s grass trial.

TM68 – Giga Impact: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 50,000.

TM69 – Rock Polish: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM70 – Aurora Veil: Akala Island, Heahea City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 30,000.

TM71 – Stone Edge: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 30,000.

TM72 – Volt Switch: Ula’ula Island, Route 10 – At the curve in the main road, search for it on the eastern rock cliffs from the twisting paved path.

TM73 – Thunder Wave: Akala Island, Route 7 – There is an island to the east from the beaches that can be reached by Poke Riding Lapras. Cross the water to reach the small island with large boulders inside.

TM74 – Gyro Ball: Ula’ula Island, Route 11 – South of the city, just as you enter this route, the road forks around a patch of jungle. It can be found inside this patch of trees.

TM75 – Swords Dance: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM76 – Fly: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Given by a female NPC in the library.

TM77 – Psych Up: Ula’ula Island, Route 12 – Defeat all trainers on the route.

TM78 – Bulldoze: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM79 – Frost Breath: Poni Island, Ancient Poni Path – Go to the southeastern corner on the rocks near the water. It can be found after leaving the straight pathways but before reaching Poni Breaker Coast in the far southeastern corner.

TM80 – Rock Slide: Melemele Island, Sea – Break through the boulders while Poke Riding Sharpedo to find it.

TM81 – X-Scissor: Ula’ula Island, Route 16 – It can be found to the left of the Aether Foundation building.

TM82 – Dragon Tail: Akala Island, Konikoni City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM83 – Infestation: Melemele Island, Route 3 – Return once you unlock the Tauros Charge. Smash through the breakable boulders on the southeastern shore to find it.

TM84 – Poison Jab: Ula’ula Island, Route 17 – It can be found in the tall grass on the western cliff edge of the route.

TM85 – Dream Eater: Ula’ula Island, Haina Desert – In the maze, follow these directions to reach it: north, east, north, east, west, south.

TM86 – Grass Knot: Akala Island, Lush Jungle – From the Pokemon Center, follow the path south and east to an area with tall green grass. In the grass, go north to find a passage that leads to a clear spot with the TM.

TM87 – Swagger: Melemele Island, Route 2 – Locate Guzma’s House on Route 2. Talk to his mother to get it as a gift.

TM88 – Sleep Talk: Akala Island, Paniola Town – Enter the town from the Route 6 path to the east of the town. This will lead into a small storage area across from the water tower with the TM.

TM89 – U-Turn: Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM90 – Substitute : Ula’ula Island, Malie City – Purchase at the Pokemon Center for 10,000.

TM91 – Flash Cannon: Poni Island, Seafolk Village – It can be found on the balcony of the long Pokemon-shaped ship.

TM92 – Trick Room: Akala Island, Hano Grand Resort – Locate Kahili in Hano Grand Hotel, and talk to them after you become Champion Of Alola.

TM93 – Wild Charge: Ula’ula Island, Route 15 – It can be found on the large square platform on the small island.

TM94 – Surf: Poni Island, Poni Breaker Coast – Defeat the two trainers in the southeastern corner of the coast.

TM95 – Snarl: Ula’ula Island, Route 10 – Defeat all trainers on this route.

TM96 – Nature Power: Akala Island, Route 5 – Defeat all trainers on this route.

TM97 – Dark Pulse: Poni Island, Poni Coast – Reach the upper coast platforms and jump down onto the lower levels to find it.

TM98 – Waterfall: Poni Island, Poni Breaker Coast – Defeat the two trainers in the southeastern corner of the coast.

TM99 – Dazzling Gleam: Poni Island, Vast Poni Canyon – It can be found in a small alcove through a Diglett Tunnel.

TM100 – Confide: Melemele Island, Hau’oli Cemetery – Circle around to the area outside the tall hedges, east from the cemetery, to find it.
