Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 – How to Upload Your Mod to the Steam Workshop?
How to Upload Your Mod to the Steam Workshop?
Follow these steps;
To publish your mod to the Workshop, go to Post -> WORKSHOP UPLOAD. The image and pack file must have the same name, and the image must be in.png format. Assume your mod’s name is “test mod. pack” without quotation marks. Your picture should be named “test mod.png” without quotation marks. Then, in the launcher, look for it at the bottom of the list and click the blue folder icon. Then, go to the top of Steam, where you see your name, click content from the dropdown. Go to the workshop tab, select the Car Mechanic Simulator 2021, and it will show only the mod you uploaded. You can click on it to take you to the mod’s page, and it has several tools to help you manage the content. Read everything carefully before entering your details. Your upload_preview.png is a thumbnail, so the image has to be pretty small. If you do not provide an image for the thumbnail, you will receive an error, and the mod will not upload, so don’t skip this step!
If your mod is huge, this might take seconds, minutes, or even hours. It is important to note that you must approve the Steam Workshop Agreement for modifications to be uploaded. Note that, as previously indicated, your mod’s ID will be replaced by its workshop ID, and its name, if empty, will be set to its former ID.
To update your mod, select the mod in the top left list, enter some change notes and click ‘Update Existing Mod.’
