Football Manager 2021 – OS Error 4294956471 Fix

According to players, they are unable to play Football Manage 2021 on Mac OS as they are getting the OS Error 4294956471. Here is how to fix it.

First, start the terminal by going to Applications > Utiltites > double click Terminal. Enter the following command and press return.

cd Library/Application\ Support/Steam/steamapps/common

Type the following command, press enter, and it’ll list all the installed games, one of which will be Football Manager 2021.

Enter the following command and press enter. Replace the “Football Manager 2021” with the exact folder name you get in the step above.

cd “Football Manager 2021/Football Manager 2021.app/Contents/MacOS”

Then type the following command and press enter.

./”Football Manager 2021”

This will fix the OS Error 4294956471, and players will be able to play Football Manager 2021 without any issue. However, doing it every time can be tedious; the following command will make a shortcut that will launch Football Manager 2021 without OS Error 4294956471.

ln -s “/Volumes/Geode/Shared/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2021/Football Manager 2021.app/Contents/MacOS/Football Manager 2021” ~/Desktop/

This will fix the OS Error 4294956471 with the game.
