Key Changes from Vanilla WoW to Classic WoW
Blizzard’s revamp of Classic WoW isn’t just a straight-up nostalgia trip; there are a few tweaks and changes in the mix:
- First off, your Battle.net buddies are right there with you, thanks to the friends list integration.
- Got an issue with another player? Just right-click their name to report them. Easy peasy.
- They’ve swapped out the old-school data system for a more modern framework to keep things running smooth.
- Colorblind support is in, making the game more accessible for everyone.
- Loot trading’s a thing now, but they’re keeping it raid-exclusive.
- The Macro and Addon interface got a nice little facelift, so it’s more up-to-date.
- They’ve bumped up the graphics settings in the UI, but you can still flip between Classic and Recommended if you’re feeling nostalgic.
- And last but not least, the 4:3 widescreen visuals are looking sharper than ever.
So, while it’s got that old-school vibe, Classic WoW is also bringing some welcome changes to the table!
