Little Briar Rose – Puzzle Keys/Walkthrough

An answer key to the game’s puzzles. If you’re going for the achievements, this will help you die less while doing them since, for one, you can’t die at all, and for another, you die once and only once. This will give you the answers and help guide you as you go, including maze solutions, tips, item locations, and whatnot to help you.

Gnome Architecture

So for the building puzzle, you’ll want it to look just like this. Flower ornament, red mushroom roof, purple thorn chimney, that very simple wall, and the foundation with carrots holding it up. It answers all of their needs.

An alternative that will work is a purple mushroom ornament instead of a flower. However, the first build above with the flower will give you the achievement, so make sure to, at the very least to do it once.

1st Maze – Gnome Wish

Mermen Items

So you’ll need 3 items:

• Gems – received from trading the purple tailed mermaid (she wants a crab claw, obtained from fishing)

• Shark’s Tooth – obtained from fishing

• Trident – take the carpenter gnome’s saw near his work area and cut a branch off of a tree near the mushroom we did the first maze at. You’ll automatically take it back to the carpenter gnome and get a trident.

2nd Maze – Mermen Wish

Fairy Dancer Items

1st item – Glowing Flower (Obtained next to the mermen’s waterfall in the previous town)

Get the dark berries obtained with a fishing rod from the tree in the game’s starting area near the first fairy. Give them to the merman with the orange star hat to get the king’s scale, then wash it at the fishing spot.) 2nd item – Golden Scale (Talk to the purple-tailed mermaid.

3rd item – Bellflower (Give the mirror from the gnome village to the middle fairy with the orange hair after looking at the big purple flowers then talking to her. Once she has the mirror, go look at the big purple flowers again)

4th item – Cloud (look at the bird in the nest in the middle area, then talk to the gnome king, then use the small fish from fishing and give it to the bird, then talk to the king again)

Then you’re ready for this minigame, which is up to your skill, really.

3rd Maze – Fairy Wish

Line them up like this.

Spriggan Answers

The spriggan plucking flower pedals need these answers:

• Favorite color: Red

• Answers for the tailor: “Err… Two arms only. Two common arms.”

• “Are you serious? No, the head would happen to be on the top, you see…”

Tip: ignore what he’s saying while you stir; he’s just trying to make you forget how many seconds or miss the time he mentioned. He says nothing important while you stir.

To get more answers:

• Butterfly information – painting gnome

• Lake allergy information – purple tailed mermaid

• Free Poem – orange tailed merman nearby

• Flower information – bird in the center area, then orange star hat merman

So now talk to the sad flower spriggan again, answer key:

• “Red”

• “Suggest the Merman’s poem.”

• “Give her a red flower.”

• “For a dinner at my place.”

• “We’ll talk about insects.”
