NBA 2K20 – MyPLAYER Boosts Guide

1 7

First of all Boosts don’t affect attributes. They just make you do more of whatever the boost is for. For example, being a shooting boost doesn’t really give you a plus anything it just makes you make more shots. Passing and Ball Handling doesn’t give you better stats just makes you pass better and break more ankles.

Single Use Boosts

Single use boosts are boosts which apply to a single game. These boosts cost 200 VC to purchase and last for one game. The boosts you can buy in single-use are:

Jump Shots: Increase your jump shot ability for one game.

Layups/Dunks: Increase your layup and dunk abilities for one game.

Steals: Increase your stealing ability for one game.

Blocks: Increase your blocking ability for one game.

Rebounds: Increase your rebounding ability for one game.

Ball Handling/Passing: Increase your ball-handling and passing ability for one game.

Ten Pack Boosts

Ten pack boosts are exactly as they sound. These packs of boosts cost 2000 VC and last for ten games. The ten pack boosts you can purchase are:

Jump Shots: Increase your jump shot ability for ten games.

Layups/Dunks: Increase your layup and dunk abilities for ten games.

Steals: Increase your stealing ability for ten games.

Blocks: Increase your blocking ability for ten games.

I cant be 100% and I can’t remember if I read this in 2klab or where but I read that each Boost is equal to 5 points so if your shooting is a 70 and you buy shooting boost you will be at 75 it sounds reasonable and I believe that’s true but again I can’t gaurentee it
