Sniper Elite V2 Remastered – Mission 7 – Karlshorst Command Post Walkthrough

Introduction

The final high priority target is Wolff. Unfortunately his location is still unknown. A Special Operations Command Post controlled by the Soviets could be a potential clue as Wolff may have been in contact with them. You will need to head toward this incredibly hostile and dangerous zone in order to investigate.

Points of interest:

Gold bars: 10

Wine bottles: 5

Achievement: ‘Fuel Tank’ (Destroy a tank by sniping the fuel supply)

Mission 7: Karlshorst Command Post

Your first objective is to make your way through the city ruins and destroy a tank guarding the command post. The route to the tank is relatively straight forward with minor human resistance. In order to destroy the tank try and position yourself in a building, ideally on an elevated floor. The tank is doing laps around the buildings making it a tricky target.

Tip: Wait for the tank as it moves down a straight path allowing time for your breath assist to kick in and shoot the fuel tank.

Once the tank is destroyed you will have to take out the flow of responding Soviet soldiers. They come in great numbers and have access to mounted machine guns so make use of your surroundings as protection from their gunfire.

Having dispatched the horde of Soviet soldiers you will need to head into the Command Post and search within in order to find some crucial documents. These will be attached to a solder that you will need to kill and then loot.

Having acquired the documents head back outside the Command Post where things will become particularly tricky for you as a sniper squad has been sent out to assassinate you. Pay caution to the buildings around you as their positions are no clearly apparent. Some of the squad will attack you on foot and some will remain in position in their sniper nests.

Tip: Use your binoculars to search and ultimately mark out potential assassins to prevent any nasty surprises.

Throughout this objective, having killed a group of the sniper squadrons you will required to move to 2 other separate positions. Upon the third you, once you have dispatched the final sniper, you will have completed the mission.
