What are Guard Impacts?
Guard impact is a traditional function that allows you to parry an attack. In SOULCALIBUR VI it has been changed to a new system that leads to different states of advantage depending on the speed of the move that is parried. Slower moves will give you less advantage for your next attack than a faster move, so anticipate your opponents attacks and try and parry them when you can! Guard impacts are performed by tapping 6G (Forward and Guard).
