Try disabling your anti-virus software. Sometimes the anti-virus starts scanning the exe file as soon as you run the game which causes abnormal behavior and ultimately crashes the game. Sometimes your system does not have enough free memory to boot up the game and in return, ends up crashing the system. Try running the game as an administrator. This might be a last resort fix if you are still unable to run the game after the above-mentioned fixes but depending on your Windows installation, you might not have access to run the game right from the start so to ensure that you have the proper access, right-click on the .exe and click Properties. When the screen opens up, click the option to run the program as an administrator.
