Interest earned is capped once you hit 50 total gold, so it’s advisable that you don’t go below this threshold if you want to get the most out of your money.

Even if you’ve taken a bit of a hit to the health bar, maintaining a healthy economy can be enough to bring you back into the game. It’ll enable you to reroll the shop’s selection more often, level up faster than your opponents and purchase expensive units without too much hassle.
