Cheats

Press Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up a cheat console. Then type the following codes (without the quotes) and press ‘Enter’ to enble the corresponding effect.

New Cheat Codes

Note: Input the cheat code testingcheats true first before entering the cheats below.

Code – Result

traits.equip_trait trait_OccultMermaid – Change your Sim into a Mermaid/Merman

traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid – Change your Mermaid/Merman Sim back into a normal Sim

traits.equip_trait trait_OccultMermaid_MermaidForm – Triggers mermaid tail on land

careers.add_career Conservationist – Add the conservationist career

careers.promote Conservationist – Level up in the conservationist career

careers.remove_career Conservationist – Remove the conservationist career

careers.promote PartTime_Diver – Get promoted in the part time Diver career

careers.promote PartTime_Fisherman – Get promoted in the part time Fisherman career

careers.promote PartTime_Lifeguard – Get promoted in the part time Lifeguard career

volcanic_eruption small – Small lava bombs fall out of the sky on your lot.

volcanic_eruption large- Large lava bombs fall out of the sky on your lot.

weather.start_weather_event – Change the weather to a Monsoon

loot.apply_to_sim loot_Dolphins_Investigate_SpawnDolphin – Summon a Dolphin. (your Sim has to be in deep waters for it to work)

narrative.start_narrative narrative_IslandConservation_Stage_Starting – Stage 1 – Make your beach dirty and full of litter.

narrative.start_narrative narrative_IslandConservation_Stage_Intermediate – Stage 2 – Cleaner but you can still find fishing nets and trash.

narrative.start_narrative narrative_IslandConservation_Stage_Final – Stage 3 – Your beach is clean and you can see turtles, jellyfish and can even encounter an albino dolphin!

Other Cheat Codes

ALL Homes are Temporarily Free while the Cheat is Active. Enter Cheat in the Neighborhood Screen. If Purchased, Beware of the Taxes in these Lots:

Type ‘freerealestate (on/off)’

Displays Available Commands:

Type ‘help’

Enable/Disable Cheats:

Type ‘testingcheats (on/off)’

Exits the Game:

Type ‘quit’

Hides ALL Sim Overhead Effects such as Plumbob, Thought Balloons and Speech Balloons:

Type ‘hideheadlineeffects (on|off)’

Provides 1,000 Simoleons:

Type ‘kaching’ or ‘rosebud’

Provides 50,000 Simoleons:

Type ‘motherlode’

Reset your Sim. Ex. Resetsim Bob Smith:

Type ‘resetsim (sims first name) (sims lastname)’

Toggles Fullscreen:

Type ‘fullscreen’

Turns the Frame Rate Display in the Bottom Left Corner:

Type ‘fps (on|off)’

Skill Editing

With testingcheats true enabled, you can enter the following code from the console to set the desired level on a given skill:

stats.set_skill_level [skilltype] [1-10]

As an example, you might enter stats.set_skill_level Major_Fishing 7 to set your skill level on Major Fishing to 7. The list of available skill types is as follows:

Interaction Cheats

While in the cheats console, pressing SHIFT+] can also increase the size of objects. If you enable additional cheats using the testinghcheats true code and then type in cas.fulleditmode, you will enable all CAS abilities. Then you can press and hold SHIFT while clicking on the objects listed below to produce a menu that lets you select the corresponding effect.

Sim – Allows Sim to be modified, except name and inherited traits (Modify in CAS)

Sim – Reset a Sim (Reset Object)

Sim – Add the Sim to the current family (Add to Family)

Sim – All motives are full and mood is Happy (Cheat Motive > Make Happy)

Sim – Motives change dynamically (Cheat Motive > Enable Motive Decay)

Sim – Motives remain static (Cheat MOtive > Disable Motive Decay)

Object – Resets object

Dirty-able Object – Makes object dirty

Dirty Object – Makes object clean

Mailbox – Resets mailbox

Ground – Teleports your Sim to that vicinity
