Important Priest Class Quests

Priests have it incredibly easy when it comes to class quests (at least while leveling). Also, unlike virtually every other class, your choice of race will influence your experience beyond racial abilities because each race gains unique Priest spells, adding an extra layer of flavor to how the class plays for each of them.

Touch of Weakness and Devouring Plague (Undead)

Once you reach Level 10, return to the Undercity and pick up the quest Touch of Weakness from Father Lankester in the War Quarter. Complete it by speaking with the banshee Priest trainer, Aelthalyste, to obtain the Touch of Weakness spell.

Repeat this exact process at Level 20 to obtain the potent Devouring Plague spell.

Hex of Weakness and Shadowguard (Troll)

Upon reaching Level 10, return to Orgrimmar and pick up the Hex of Weakness quest from Ur’kyo, the Troll Priest trainer in the Valley of Spirits. Speak with him again to complete the quest and obtain the Hex of Weakness spell.

At Level 20, return to Orgrimmar. This time, you’ll need to speak with High Priest Zayus in the Valley of Spirits to obtain the Shadowguard quest, then speak to Ur’kyo to complete the quest and obtain the Shadowguard spell.

Starshards and Elune’s Grace (Night Elf)

Once you reach Level 10, you can obtain the Returning Home quest from the Priest trainer in Teldrassil. From there, return to Darnassus and speak with the Priest trainer, Alathea, to complete the quest. She’ll then offer you the Stars of Elune quest, so pick it up, then speak to her again to complete the quest and obtain the Starshards spell.

At Level 20, return to Darnassus and speak with Priest trainer, Astarii, who can be found in the Temple of the Moon. She’ll offer you the Elune’s Grace quest, so accept it, then speak to Alathea to complete the quest and obtain the Elune’s Grace spell.

Desperate Prayer and Feedback (Human)

Starting at Level 10, you can obtain the Desperate Prayer quest in Elwynn Forest by speaking with Priestess Josetta, who can be found in the town of Goldshire. Once you’ve accepted the quest, head to Stormwind City and speak with the High Priestess in the Cathedral to complete the quest and obtain the Desperate Prayer spell.

At Level 20, return to Stormwind and speak to Brother Joshua’s Priest trainer to obtain the Arcane Feedback quest. Once you’ve accepted the quest, speak with the High Priestess to complete the quest and obtain the Feedback spell.

Desperate Prayer and Fear Ward (Dwarf)

Beginning at Level 10, you can find the Desperate Prayer quest in Dun Morogh by speaking with the Priest trainer, Maxan, who can be found in Kharanos. After accepting the quest, head to Stormwind and speak to the High Priestess in the Cathedral to complete the quest and obtain the Desperate Prayer spell.

At Level 20, return to Ironforge and speak with Priest trainer Toldren in the Mystic Ward to pick up the A Lack of Fear quest. Once you’ve accepted the quest, speak with the High Priest to complete the quest and obtain the Fear Ward spell.
